Job Description

O'Neill & Brennan are currently recruiting for a well established and respected construction consultancythat specialises in the new build and refurbishment of prime residential projectsacross Southwest London and Surrey. Known for their bespoke service and high-quality delivery, they work on some of the most prestigious private residential projects in the region.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are now looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor with 3-4 years' experience to join their close-knit, professional team.

The role:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will work across all stages of the project lifecycle, from initial feasibility and cost planning through to final accounts. You'll be involved in multiple high-end residential schemes, working directly with clients, contractors, and consultants.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive consultancy that offers real autonomy, exposure to luxury residential projects, and structured support toward MRICS (if not already chartered).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing cost plans, estimates, and tender documentation

  • Managing procurement and tendering processes

  • Contract administration (JCT forms)

  • Providing post-contract cost control and financial reporting

  • Managing variations, valuations, and final accounts

  • Attending client meetings and providing professional advice

  • Building strong relationships with clients, architects, and contractors

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years' experience working for a QS Consultancy(PQS)

  • Experience in residential projects(high-end/luxury preferred)

  • Working toward or already achieved MRICS

  • Strong knowledge of JCT contracts

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline (RICS-accredited preferred)

  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects independently
