Job Description
Quantity Surveyor - Permanent - Derby - Established Contractor - Highways - Strong Project Pipeline - Civils Preparing, maintaining and processing financial and project transactions Analysing project costs and preparing monthly cost reports and commentary for any variance Making site visits to carry out inspections Liaising with all levels of the construction and professional team, including clients Valuing completed work and applying for payments Assisting in providing accurate, real-time, monthly reports (CVRs) and outcome forecasts Attending meetings on-site or elsewhere with site teams, clients, suppliers and other parties as and when required.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you must have:Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification (HNC/HND) Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the highways industry Sound knowledge of NEC forms of contract Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills Full UK driving licence.
