I'm reaching out regarding a Senior Quant DevOps/Platform Engineer opportunity we're currently hiring for in Zurich.
This is a permanent position within a team responsible for operating and evolving a large-scale quantitative risk modelling platform, supporting compute-intensive and data-heavy workloads. The environment is heavily Azure-based and combines modern platform engineering with big data and cloud infrastructure.

This is a permanent position within a team responsible for operating and evolving a large-scale quantitative risk modelling platform, supporting compute-intensive and data-heavy workloads. The environment is heavily Azure-based and combines modern platform engineering with big data and cloud infrastructure.
The team is looking for engineers with experience in:
- Big Data platforms, Databricks, and data modelling
- Linux/Unix (Red Hat) production environments
- Azure DevOps
- Python at scale
- Supporting model execution frameworks
- Large-scale distributed compute platforms and cloud infrastructure
This is a highly collaborative engineering role focused on platform reliability, automation, performance optimisation and supporting quantitative workloads within a complex cloud environment.
Location: Zurich (Hybrid - 3 days on site)
