About the role

An opportunity has arisen for the exciting position of Quality Systems Administrator for a 12 month fixed term contract.

Working within the China Compliance team responsible for the maintenance and development of the quality management systems inclusive of raw material conformity checking and supplier validation.

Working alongside the Quality Compliance Manger your role is to ensure all documentation relating to the manufacture of products for the China market meet the relevant GB and Annex 4 standards. Through regular audits you are responsible for ensuring that all documentation confirms Nutricia Liverpool delivers products of consistent, specified quality and uncompromising safety, in line with Danone Specialised Nutrition Quality Ambition. You will need to be able to build relationships both internally and externally that challenge and support technical excellence.

You will also work alongside stakeholders to drive and development and improvement of all shop floor based paperwork and governance of China manufacture, ensuring a continuous improvement and a Right First-Time culture throughout the organisation.

Your role is pivotal in maintaining and improving quality standards using principles of lean manufacturing techniques / methodologies (e.g. IWS / SQCDME).

What will I be doing day to day?

  • Responsible maintaining a documented Quality Management System, which reflects the site's commitment to Food Safety Legality and Quality and satisfies third party requirements. Ensure that the system satisfies the requirements of the FDA / FSMP and country specific requirements for product registration (e.g. China and others)
  • To ensure that all new policies and procedures that require BIA / implementation from SN Central relating to all aspects of the quality team (inc quality control) are coordinated via governance, with a full close out report on impact and expected implementation date, Inclusive of a logged overview document
  • Responsible for maintaining and improving the Quality System through audits and system reviews and ensure that effective and timely corrective action is taken when necessary.
  • Responsible for the successful preparation and completion of all external and internal audits as well as responsible for presenting any documentation related QMS in all external audits such as SMAR
  • Responsible for the co-ordination between the Environmental Management System and the Quality System to ensure adherence to GB and annex 4 standards. Ensure that a system is in place by which services are controlled and monitored to prevent any risk of Food Safety being endangered. Escalate any irregularities which could affect product safety or cause out specification product.
  • KPI's & Escalation:

  • Responsible for Ensure that any issues relating to safety or legality of product are identified and communicated to the Quality Compliance Manager / Head of Quality and the Supply Point Director for review at a strategic level.
  • Responsible for providing reports as required by the Site Management team or other designated Managers. Produce regular quality performance reports to assist Production Managers in eliminating non-conformances. Develop and maintain an organised record keeping system within the site.
