Are you passionate about quality, precision, and continuous improvement? We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team and ensure our products meet the highest standards in safety, performance, and compliance.
As a key player in our quality assurance efforts, you'll be responsible for inspections, documentation, and supporting quality initiatives that drive excellence throughout our operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and interpret Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans, and QA/NDT documentation
- Perform visual inspections, weld fit-up checks, and cleanliness audits
- Ensure correct implementation of Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and welder qualifications
- Maintain traceability of materials and verify calibration of inspection tools
- Collaborate with Managers and Project Leads to meet project-specific QA requirements
- Maintain quality documentation within the Combined Management System (CMS)
- Experience in Project Quality, Quality Control, and Quality Management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, Nuclear, Automotive)
- Familiarity with PPAP, MSA, GR&R, and process mapping
- Strong background in supplier management, contract review, and specification interpretation
- Skilled in problem-solving and root cause analysis
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills
- Strong communicator - both written and verbal
- Able to influence and collaborate across teams
- Committed to maintaining quality from RFQ through to dispatch
