This is a permanent staff role offering a 38-hour week with an early finish on a Friday and attractive staff benefits.

Why This Role?

This is more than a replacement hire - it's a chance to make the role your own. You'll join a collaborative HSEQ Team, reporting to the HSEQ Manager. You'll have no direct reports but will be the key figure in managing and developing quality systems across the business. This includes engaging with internal teams and external suppliers to drive continuous improvement and compliance.

  • Investigating non-conformances and carrying out root cause analysis.
  • Performing internal and external audits.
  • Liaising with Production and Supply Chain Teams to ensure quality is embedded at every level.
  • Maintaining calibration and NDT records, LOLER register, and technical documentation.
  • Preparing monthly performance and supplier HSEQ reports.
  • Deputising for the HSEQ Coordinator when needed.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a Quality Engineering or Quality Control role.
  • Strong understanding of inspection/testing methods (NDT and dimensional).
  • Root cause analysis expertise (5 Whys, Ishikawa, 8D etc.).
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and API Q1/7-1/7-2.
  • Qualified Auditor (Lead or Internal) preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail, self-starting attitude, and effective communication skills.
  • Familiarity with energy industry environments (Oil & Gas or Renewables).

Other Details:

  • Location: On-site in Aberdeen (Tullos HQ, occasional travel to supplier sites in Scotland).
  • Working Hours: Mon-Thu 07:00-15:30 Fri 07:00-13:00 (38 hours/week).
  • Relocation: Not offered.
  • Remote/Hybrid Work: Not available, this is a fully site/office-based role.

What's in it for You?

  • Approximately 7 weeks annual leave (262 hours) - only 4 days fixed over Christmas/New Year.
  • 8% employer pension contribution.
  • Private health insurance & health cashback scheme.
  • Life insurance (4x base salary).
  • Cycle to work scheme.
  • Employee discount platform (shopping, travel, and more).
