Quality Assurance Lead

Overview

Quality Assurance Lead, £40K - £45K, Loughborough, Leicester, Leicestershire. Established, successful, and growing SME manufacturing and product assembly business looking to appoint a Quality Assurance Lead. Salary commensurate with experience (£40K - £45K as a guide) + benefits. We are looking for a Quality Assurance Lead to lead a Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure products, processes, and supply chain meet the highest standards of compliance and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and improve an ISO 9001:2015 certified QMS.
• Manage audits (ISO 9001 & industry specific) and close out non-conformities.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality policies, procedures, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Support key sustainability and compliance initiatives including a carbon reduction plan.
• Oversee product testing and liaise with suppliers on compliance.
• Support NPD, Procurement, and Sales teams with quality standards.
• Deliver continuous improvements through data analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing ISO 9001 QMS and leading audits.
• Strong knowledge of quality control and compliance.
• Product testing.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and influence at all levels.
• Detail-driven, organised, and confident in analysing and reporting data.
