Location: Griffith College - Any campus - Dublin, Cork or Limerick

Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent

Job Summary Griffith College's Quality Assurance and Enhancement (QAE) Department plays a key role in supporting and enhancing the quality of the College's academic programmes. QAED works with programme teams across all of the faculties, support departments and collaborative partners to ensure programmes and practices meet accreditation body requirements and continue to evolve in line with best practice in higher education.

QAED facilitates enhancement through competent, knowledgeable and professional support, reflecting the College's core values of academic excellence, learner centredness, and career focused programmes, in a friendly, inclusive environment. QAED manages and oversees QAE processes, including (re)validation, programme approval, periodic review, annual evaluation, monitoring and modification. The team also maintains academic policies and procedures, liaises with collaborative partners and professional statutory and regulatory bodies (PSRBs), supports protection for enrolled learners, and engages with internal and external quality audit and review.

The Quality Assurance and Enhancement (QAE) Officer - Academic QAE contributes to the development and implementation of QAE academic policies, procedures and related reporting. Working with academic and professional colleagues, the QAE Officer will develop/apply expertise in QQI-related compliance and regulatory frameworks to support the design, enhancement, assurance and reporting of academic and learner centred processes and policies that reflect emerging trends in higher education, while meeting institutional and national quality standards.

This role offers an opportunity to take on responsibility, working autonomously and with colleagues, to provide clear direction and guidance on QAE requirements and procedures. It also allows the individual to support, lead and manage projects on behalf of QAED, and work with teams to maintain the College's reputation for academic excellence and student success.
