Qualified Wraparound Childcare Manager (Breakfast & After School Clubs), Horley, RH6
Flexible term-time hours (20 to 25 per week), including up to 3 hours of management time out of setting and flexible holiday club hours (10-50 per week)
Up to £16ph (depending on qualifications and experience)
Responsibilities- Lead a team of play and childcare leaders with support from the wider management team
- Take an active role in the development and daily management of before and after school clubs
- Ensure the care and safeguarding of children and create a positive, nurturing environment for children aged 2-11
- Assist with planning, delivery, and supervision of activities across a range of settings
- Maintain safety, policy compliance, and high professional standards; complete registers, accident and incident forms, and health and safety checks as needed
- Represent the organisation's brand through professional communication with colleagues, parents, children and schools
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Playwork, Childcare, or Early Years
- Experience leading a team
- A passion for working with children and providing inclusive, engaging provision
- Strong organisation, planning, and activity delivery skills
- Responsible and reliable, with a focus on safety and adherence to policies and procedures
- Effective communication and engagement with team members, parents, children and schools
Start dates from July 2026 to September 2026 can be considered for this role
Salary, Hours and BenefitsPaid across all 12 months of the year. For worked hours across the 39 weeks of the school year, this is the equivalent of £16 per hour. For a term-time contract of 25 hours per week, the annual salary would be £16,550.00.
