Qualified Management Accountant

Location: Reading, UK (Hybrid)
Contract Duration: 3 months
Rate: £350-£400 per day
IR35: Inside IR35 (umbrella contract only)

Overview:
We are seeking a Qualified Management Accountant to support financial reporting and business decision-making on a short-term contract in Reading. This role is suited to a proactive and experienced accountant capable of delivering accurate management accounts and insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities

• Perform complex reconciliations and financial reporting

• Provide financial insights to support business decisions

• Assist with process improvements and ad hoc financial projects

• Collaborate with finance and operational teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting

Requirements:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in management accounting or finance

• Strong technical skills in Excel and financial reporting systems

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Contract Details:

• 3-month fixed-term contract

• Hybrid working (office in Reading, flexible remote days)

• Inside IR35, umbrella only
