Qualified Accountant - Sligo

We are seeking a Qualified Accountant in Co. Sligo Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts with commentary and analysis
• Preparing and issuing invoices and managing debtors
• Accounts payable and supplier management
• Management of bank accounts
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting preparation
• Year end closing activities
• Tax reporting and support statutory compliance
• Sales and KPI preparation and analysis
• Contract margin and profitability reporting
• Participate in the finance and financial control process, system development, and other projects as needed, working closely with the Finance Director and Director of Operations
• Ensuring that all necessary data are available in a timely and accurate manner
• Presentation of meaningful trends and analysis to enable internal stakeholders to make informed decisions

Key Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in a similar role
• Experience in the construction industry is desirable but not essential
• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office package
• Comfortable with the use of Accounting Software
