Overview

QMS Engineer - Salary approx. €65,000 - €75,000 - Permanent.

An excellent opportunity for a QMS Engineer to join a well-established heavy manufacturing company at their large-scale production facility. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and continuously improving the site Quality Management System within a complex, high-risk manufacturing environment.

The Role
  • Maintain, develop and continuously improve the site Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001 and applicable industry standards
  • Support and coordinate internal, external and customer audits
  • Manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and drive effective root cause investigations
  • Prepare, review and control quality procedures, work instructions and records
  • Support non-conformance management and quality investigations on the shop floor
  • Work closely with Production, Engineering and Supply Chain to drive quality improvements
  • Support continuous improvement and standardisation initiatives across operations
The Person
  • Degree in Engineering, Quality, Science or a related discipline
  • 3+ years' experience in a QMS or Quality Engineering role within heavy manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality system requirements
  • Experience supporting internal and external audits
