Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Lead to join our client's QC Raw Materials and Compendial team. This is a management role at a Team Lead level, reporting to the Associate Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the project-related aspects of incoming raw materials for new and upcoming DS biologics projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the establishment of raw materials for new projects, ensuring all specifications and regulations are met
- Act as a key client-facing contact, managing communications and expectations related to raw materials
- Manage the entire project lifecycle for the raw materials team, from initial setup to GMP runs
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on incoming materials and DS (Drug Substance) testing
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards for raw material and specification establishment.
- 8-10 years of experience in a QC or manufacturing environment within the biologics industry
- Proven experience of incoming raw materials, including establishment and testing
- Strong project management background, with specific knowledge in the establishment of DS manufacturing
- In-depth knowledge of the regulations surrounding raw material and specification establishment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, "hit the ground running," and manage projects from start to finish.
