Job Description

Inside IR35

QAD Solution Engineer to join a UK leading brand on a 14 month initial contract.

100% remote, excellent rates (Inside IR35), long term engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and customise QAD applications using Progress 4GL/ABL.
  • Maintain and query Progress OpenEdge and SQL databases.
  • Support and troubleshoot system integrations and data interfaces.
  • Provide Level 2/3 technical support and resolve application and data issues.
  • Develop SQL queries, reports, and data extracts.
  • Support testing, UAT, upgrades, patches, and deployments.
  • Produce technical documentation and work with technical/business teams to resolve issues.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 3-6 years of technical QAD ERP experience.
  • Strong Progress 4GL/ABL and OpenEdge database experience.
  • Good SQL and relational database knowledge (MS SQL/Oracle).
  • Understanding of SAP integrations and common integration methods.
  • Experience with QAD reporting tools, Cyberquery, Excel, or SQL-based reporting.
