QA Specialist

Location: Randstad

We are currently looking for a QA specialist for a leading global pharmaceutical company dedicated to developing and delivering innovative products and services that improve the health and well-being of people around the world.

As a QA Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of the products and processes. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality management systems and supporting the production and development teams to meet the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits.
• Analyse quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare and update quality documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and protocols.
• Train staff on quality processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with production, R&D, and regulatory departments to achieve quality objectives.
• Report quality performance to management and make recommendations for improvements.

Preferred requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant scientific or technical discipline (e.g., biotechnology, pharmacy, chemistry).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance within the pharmaceutical, medical, or biotechnology industry.
• Thorough knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and other relevant regulations (e.g., FDA, EMA).
• Experience conducting audits and managing CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented and well-organised.
