As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for raising purchase orders (PO) in line with internal procedures, ensuring all requests are processed efficiently and correctly. You will manage incoming requests & changes, prioritising workloads, and maintaining clear and accurate records at all times.

The position is heavily focused on data processing and requires a methodical approach, ensuring all transactions are recorded in a timely manner. Updating purchase order due dates & supplier system information whilst keeping other departments informed.

The successful candidate will have strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage repetitive tasks with consistency and accuracy. Previous experience within a similar role is desirable, but not essential if you can demonstrate a strong administrative background and a process-driven mindset.

Responsibilities
  • Raising purchase orders for all products
  • Ensure Purchase order confirmations are received, checked and all discrepancies challenged
  • Checking and resolving discrepancies on purchase order acknowledgements
  • PO amendments
  • Setting up SKUS for all products in line with guidelines
  • Sending POs to suppliers for required deadlines
  • Ad hoc admin tasks across buying and merchandising as required
About You
  • Experience in purchasing, planning, administration or supply chain role
  • Organised in approach
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel) and general computer systems
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills, able to prioritise tasks and change direction with agility.
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and manage own workload
