SRM Recruitment is working exclusively with a well-established, family-owned business to recruit a Purchase Ledger Manager.

You'll join a friendly finance team of around 20 at an exciting time. The business is modernising its processes, and this is a real opportunity to put your stamp on the purchase ledger function while keeping a busy, high-performing team on track.

The Role

• Lead, develop and support a team of three Ledger Clerks
• Stay hands-on, combining team leadership with invoice processing in a high-volume environment
• Take ownership of VAT
• Liaise with local authorities on council tax and business rates across the group's sites
• Play a key part in improving processes as the function modernises
• Build strong relationships across the business, with regular exposure to the directors

About You

• Proven experience as a Purchase Ledger Manager or Supervisor, including managing a team
• Comfortable being hands-on in a high-volume environment
• Strong working knowledge of VAT
• A collaborative, confident communicator who is at ease with senior stakeholders

The Package

• £45,000-£55,000 salary
• 24 days holiday plus bank holidays
• On-site parking
• Hybrid working: 4 days in the office, 1 from home
