Directorate: Public Health, Protection and Wellbeing

Section: Public Health

Location: Civic Centre

Grade: Level 9

Salary: £36,363 - £39,152

Hours: 37 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Public Health, Protection and Wellbeing Directorate at Stoke-on-Trent City Council.

The role will require skills knowledge and expertise to carry out a range of duties including:

- Providing leadership and advocacy for health and wellbeing across Stoke-on-Trent.

- Supporting the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of work.

- Using and evaluating data to inform decision making.

- Understanding and working with local communities to bring about sustained behaviour change.

- Influencing improvement across the City by changing the health and wellbeing impacts of the fundamental determinants of wellbeing; social, economic, commercial, environmental and behavioural.

- Supporting partnership working and collaboration.

- Be enthusiastic about improving the health and wellbeing of residents.
