Are you a Psychology graduate looking to gain meaningful experience supporting children with additional needs?
Pink Tile Education is working with a specialist SEND school in Winchester that supports pupils with Autism, Communication and Interaction Needs, and associated learning differences. The school provides a structured and nurturing environment where pupils are encouraged to build confidence, develop independence and reach their full potential.
This role would be particularly suitable for graduates considering careers in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Child Mental Health, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy or Teaching.
The Role- Supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Assisting teachers with classroom learning and interventions
- Encouraging social communication and emotional development
- Helping pupils achieve individual learning and EHCP targets
- Monitoring pupil engagement and progress
- Working closely with teachers, therapists and families
- A Psychology degree or related qualification
- A genuine interest in child development and SEND
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- A patient, empathetic and positive attitude
- Previous experience working with children is advantageous but not essential
- £14.25 per hour
- Full-time, term-time only role
- Valuable SEND experience for future postgraduate study or teacher training
