Psychology Graduate Opportunity - SEN Teaching Assistant

Pay: £101.40 to £115 per day
Days: Monday to Friday, Term Time Only
Location: Reading
Are you a Psychology Graduate passionate about inclusive education? In this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you'll support pupils with a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH challenges. You'll gain hands on experience with behaviour management, social communication strategies, and child development.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support to pupils with SEN in and out of class.
- Assist in the implementation of individual learning plans.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff.
- Graduates in Psychology, Criminology, Youth & Community Work, or related fields.
- Non graduates with relevant experience in youth work, mentoring, or social care are also encouraged to apply.
- A strong interest in working with young people who are at risk of entering the criminal justice system.

- A calm, patient, and resilient approach, with the ability to de escalate challenging situations.
- Experience (voluntary or paid) with vulnerable young people, SEMH, or youth offending (desirable but not essential - full training provided).
