Summary

A Project Manager to manage the design, construction, and commissioning of 33kV substations and cable circuits across the region, managing a small team. This role involves overseeing the entire project lifecycle and handover to the client.

We're seeking a dedicated Protection & Control Commissioning Engineer to join our team, responsible for testing and commissioning electrical power systems ranging from 400V to 400kV, ensuring their safe and efficient operation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Commissioning complex protection and control schemes across various low and high-voltage electrical projects.
• Working on systems such as transformers, tap changers, switchgear, and telecontrol systems in substations and power stations up to 400kV.
• Ensuring these schemes are fully tested, commissioned, and operational, complying with safety and quality standards.
• Delivering projects on time, within budget, and aligned with industry standards.
• Contributing to building high-performance, reliable electrical networks.

Candidate requirements:

• Electrical qualification (HNC or Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering).
• At least 3 years' experience with protection, control, telecontrol, or SCADA systems in high-voltage environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power protection systems, relay types, scheme types, and testing procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and team collaboration abilities.
• Proactive attitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• SSEN Cat 1-3 accreditation.
