Proposals Advisor

This European economic consultancy is seeking a Proposal Advisor to join their Public Policy Practice. You will manage end-to-end proposals and tenders for government and public sector clients, collaborating with cross-office teams to deliver compelling, high-quality bids.

Key Responsibilities

• Bid Management: Project manage the entire proposal lifecycle, ensuring all compliance, administrative, and client deadline requirements are met.
• Content Creation: Draft and edit engaging proposal content, experience statements, pitch decks, and Social Value responses.
• Opportunity Tracking: Monitor new tender opportunities, coordinate incoming requests, and gather insights to support bid/no-bid decisions.
• Continuous Improvement: Track win/loss metrics, gather client feedback, and refine proposal processes and templates.
• AI & Innovation: Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline bid development workflows without compromising quality.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven track record managing bids/proposals within professional services or consultancy.
• Skills: Excellent project management, copy-editing, and written communication skills in English (C2). Strong MS Office proficiency.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Confident working with senior multidisciplinary teams and challenging constructively when needed.
• Mindset: Proactive, organized, and interested in public policy and AI tools.
• Desirable: Fluency in an additional European language (French, German, or Spanish); knowledge of UK Government Social Value frameworks or economic consulting.
