Proposal Engineer

From crafting detailed proposals to supporting seamless project transitions, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring safety and efficiency in diverse environments.

What You'll Do:

1.Analyze & Strategize

• Evaluate incoming RFQs (technical and commercial) to identify opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales teams to define bid strategies.
• Review project specifications to spot constraints and craft solutions.

2.Coordinate & Support

• Engage with engineering teams, subject matter experts, and vendors.
• Represent the proposals team during bid clarifications and meetings.
• Provide ongoing technical and commercial support throughout the proposal lifecycle.

3.Prepare Winning Proposals

• Develop cost estimates and comprehensive cost models.
• Draft proposals that highlight value and differentiation using a "prepare to win" approach.

4.Facilitate Seamless Handover

• Support clarifications, negotiations, and contract transitions post-submission.
• Ensure a smooth transition from proposal to project execution.

What You Bring:

• A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in proposal/tendering or estimating roles (preferably within the Process industry).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Dutch and fluent English language skills.
• Knowledge of power distribution or heat tracing applications is an advantage.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and excellent communication skills.
