Location: Galway or Dublin Office with site visits
Salary: Circa €80,000, with annual salary increments available for candidates transitioning from the private sector. Candidates with relevant public sector experience may be appointed at a higher point on the salary scale, subject to experience and eligibility
Hours: 35 hours per week

Shape the Future of a Major National Property PortfolioOur client, a large public sector organisation with a substantial and diverse property portfolio, is seeking an experienced Corporate Property Manager - Portfolio Planning to play a key role in developing and delivering long-term property strategy.
This is an exciting opportunity for a property professional who enjoys strategic planning, portfolio optimisation and driving transformation across a complex estate. Working closely with regional stakeholders and senior leadership teams, you will help ensure the property portfolio supports future service delivery, workforce requirements and sustainability objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a rolling five-year property portfolio plan.
- Translate organisational service and workforce strategies into current and future property requirements.
- Identify opportunities for portfolio optimisation through:
- Consolidation
- Rationalisation
- Redevelopment
- Acquisition
- Disposal of assets
- Lead accommodation planning initiatives in support of workplace modernisation and blended working models.
- Collaborate with Regional Property Teams to assess future accommodation requirements and identify efficiencies.
- Ensure portfolio planning aligns with asset lifecycle management, sustainability and decarbonisation objectives.
- Monitor delivery of the portfolio plan and recommend strategic adjustments as organisational priorities evolve.
- Prepare business cases, reports and recommendations to support decision making at senior management level.
- Honours Degree (Level 8 NFQ) in Property Studies, Property Surveying, Property Economics or a related discipline;
OR
- Chartered Property Surveyor status with full Membership/Fellowship of SCSI or RICS.
- A minimum of 7 years' relevant professional experience, including at least 3 years post-qualification experience.
- Experience across commercial property, asset management, valuation, property transactions or property management.
- Strong understanding of strategic property portfolio planning.
- Knowledge of governance, legal and regulatory frameworks associated with large-scale property portfolios.
- Experience in financial planning, budgeting, lease management and strategy development.
- Excellent stakeholder management, analytical and communication skills.
- Salary circa €80,000 / annual increments/ expenses/mileage / 30 days Annual leave
