About Our Client

We are currently working on behalf of a national mortgage brokerage specializing in the leasing and sale of local housing properties across the NW. They are a reputable firm offering a wide array of corporate incentives and are part of a larger FTSE-listed financial group.

Job Description

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of buy-to-rent properties on behalf of landlords.
  • Marketing rental properties through appropriate channels to reduce vacancy periods.
  • Conducting tenant screenings, referencing, and onboarding processes.
  • Preparing and managing tenancy agreements and documentation.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants.
  • Coordinating property maintenance and repairs with contractors.
  • Ensuring compliance with rental regulations and safety standards.
  • Monitoring rent collection and managing arrears or disputes.
  • Providing landlords with regular updates and performance reports.
  • Liaising with letting agents, legal professionals, and service providers as needed.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in property management or lettings, preferably within buy-to-rent/residential portfolios.
  • A strong understanding of tenancy laws, property compliance, and rental market trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with landlords, tenants, and contractors.
  • High organization skills with the ability to manage multiple properties and tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A problem-solving mindset with a proactive, customer-focused approach.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
