Multi-Skilled Tradesperson (Plumber / Carpenter bias)-Using a company van to travel from your home to our pubs and restaurants in the Glasgow area.

The Opportunity - Multi-Skilled Tradesperson (Plumber / Carpenter bias)

Working independently as a Multi-Skilled Tradesperson, you'll use a company van to travel to pubs and restaurants in the area of Glasgow. (you'll be allocated approximately 40 sites to look after), to deliver general maintenance works. This will include:

• Basic cold-water plumbing, including fixing toilet flushes and leaking pipes
• Woodwork and joinery
• Painting and decorating
• Floor and wall tiling
• Pest proofing
• Occasional larger works such as fence replacements, fitting of replacement kitchens and bathrooms

You'll manage the ordering of parts, your van stock, and your own workload - logging all jobs on the IT system (training provided). Use your great people skills to build relationships with Area and General Managers, to ensure they know how to get the best out of the service you provide.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven experience in a multi-skilled trade role, including plumbing and/or joinery, or with one main trade such as plumbing, joinery, carpentry, etc.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Flexible approach to tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus.
• Ability to work on own initiative and make decisions.
• Ability to work to tight timescales.

Although not essential, experience delivering maintenance works to multi-unit retail sites or successful self employment would be advantageous.
