Cyber Security / Proofpoint Engineer

Our Market Leading client are looking to onboarding an additional contractor for a rolling 3 month contract period to support on a new Email Security project focused around the implementation of Proofpoint. Thus, we need an Engineer with strong experience in the Proofpoint email security platform including administrating and configuring. This role will ideally be hybrid with either 2 days per week spent in the London or Edinburgh office (whatever is closer to you).

In terms of skills needed, please see below;

• 3+ years of experience in an email security-focused role, with a strong emphasis on Proofpoint
• 5 + years Cyber Security Industry experience
• Technical experience in administering, configuring and managing the Proofpoint Security Platform
• Understanding of email protocols
• Familiar security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001 for example.
• Strong experience of Proofpoint modules such as Enterprise Protection, Targeted Attack Protection & Email Fraud Defense
