Role overview:
The Production Excellence department at KROHNE's Flow Division is looking for an experienced NPI Project Manager to join our New Product Introduction (NPI) group. In this role, you will lead and coordinate the industrialization of new flowmeter products from the early design phase to full production release.
You will work in close collaboration with the R&D Project Manager, ensuring a seamless transition from product development to manufacturing. Together, you will align design, production, quality, and supply chain activities to meet product launch objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from development to industrialization, ensuring scalable and cost-effective manufacturing;
- Collaborate with the R&D Project Manager to align project timelines, requirements, and activities;
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to secure manufacturing readiness;
- Facilitate Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) processes to optimize product and process design;
- Oversee pilot runs, tooling implementation, process validation, and training for new products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related technical field;
- Minimum 5 years of proven project management experience, preferably in New Product Introduction (NPI) or manufacturing environments;
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and collaborate closely with R&D;
- Familiarity with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and ERP systems;
- Solid understanding of production processes, manufacturing technologies, and quality management;
- Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and risk management is an advantage.
