Project Worker, PACT, Dublin 
Location: Dublin
Contract: Full Time, 2 Year Fixed Term Contract
PEA (private emergency accommodation) Assessment and Case-management Team
The purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive assessment and case management support to individuals experiencing homelessness who have a range of complex needs. These may include housing, medical, mental health, and addiction-related supports.
What you will do:- Work within the overall objectives, policies, and procedures of Focus Ireland, including adherence to the Health & Safety Policy and Lone Working Policy.
- Follow the Standard Operating Procedures of PACT as outlined by the DRHE and HSE.
- Embed Focus Ireland's values and best-practice standards into all aspects of daily work.
- Provide support, guidance, and a caring, therapeutic relationship to customers.
- Work collaboratively with all agencies and organisations involved in PACT, maintaining strong interagency relationships.
- Facilitate assessments for all couples in Private Emergency Accommodation (PEAs) and new referrals, identifying needs and determining appropriate case management or external referrals.
- Manage a caseload of up to 15 clients, ensuring high-quality, customer-led support.
- Refer customers to relevant external agencies for assistance with housing, medical, mental health, addiction, education, employment, legal, or social needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including PASS entries and any additional required documentation.
- Attend weekly team meetings, case reviews, and actively participate in supervision and the Psychological Informed Environment (PIE) model.
- Participate in core and role-specific training and development as agreed with the line manager.
- Carry out additional duties as reasonably assigned, and report any Health, Safety, or Welfare concerns to the line manager or Health & Safety Representative.
- Hold a third level qualification in social care or a related field or CORU membership.
- Proven direct work experience in a social care setting at a project worker level or equivalent.
- Experience of supporting marginalized clients/groups.
- A working knowledge and insight into the social issues (e.g. substance abuse) that affect those who have or are experiencing homelessness.
- Ability to manage and support customers in crisis and with complex needs based on the values and principles of best practice in Focus Ireland.
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as using initiative.
- A working knowledge and understanding of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and Trauma-Informed Practice model (Desirable).
