Job Description
Project Quantity Surveyor DUTIES: 
- Managing the commercial elements of a number of build projects, mainly residential
- Cost reporting
- Managing suppliers and subcontractors
- Oversee the procurement of new suppliers & subcontractors
- Manage project cash flow
- Prepare accurate monthly Cost Value Reports for review with Commercial Managers / Project Managers/ Contracts Managers and presentation to the Senior Leadership Team.
- Act as a mentor to junior surveyors and offer commercial support and guidance to your immediate team and the wider project team
- Manage the process of contract administration process
- Strong commercial background
- Previous experience working on Residential, Commercial and Industrial or similar projects
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of construction processes, techniques, and systems
- The ability to manage sub-contractors effectively
- Strong negotiator with a client focused approach
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying
- 5 + years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a contracting environment.
