Project Officer

World Class Defence Organisation is currently looking to recruit a Project Officer subcontractor on an initial 12 month contract. Any experience of Power BI would be very beneficial. • Understanding of how manufacturing data supports cost, schedule, quality, and delivery performance within a project environment.

• Experience extracting, transforming and analysing data from project and manufacturing systems (such as Primavera/MS Project, ARM, JIRA, SAP)

• Ability to translate complex manufacturing and materials data into clear, structured reports and dashboards for project teams and management.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including creating, maintaining, and analysing manufacturing data reports, using formulas, tables, and basic data analysis techniques.
• Experience creating professional PowerPoint briefing materials to support internal reviews, project updates, and management meetings.
• Awareness-level knowledge of Power BI, including interpreting existing dashboards and reports to support project performance monitoring.
• Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to data accuracy and reporting.
• Clear and confident communicator, able to explain data-driven insights to a range of stakeholders.
• Proactive and well-organised, with the ability to manage multiple reporting tasks and meet regular deadlines.

Key Responsibilities & Skills

• Analyse and report manufacturing and materials data using SAP
• Create and maintain Excel-based manufacturing performance reports
• Produce clear PowerPoint briefing materials for project and management reviews
• Support project teams with data analysis, reporting, and decision-making
• Interpret and utilise Power BI dashboards at an awareness level
