Posted 3 days 16 hours ago by Meritis | B Corp
Meritis kicked off its tech journey in Paris in 2007-and we've been growing fast ever since, on a mission to make tech consulting smarter and more human.
Since then, we've been on a bit of a growth spree-spreading across France to cities like Lyon, Bordeaux, and Lille, and even crossing borders to set up shop in sunny Lisbon in 2023.
And the adventure didn't stop there: in 2025, we touched down in Belgium-ready to boost our clients' digital game across Europe!
Our 900+ consultants work hand-in-hand with our clients to tackle challenges in Finance, Software Engineering, Cloud & Infrastructure, Data, Cybersecurity, and Project/Product Management.
At Meritis, we believe success goes beyond technical skills-it's also about excellence, humility, kindness, and strong relationships. Oh-and we've landed on the Great Place To Work list five times, not that we're counting
For our office in Brussels , we are looking for enthousiastic Project Officers!
Project Officer - Cash Management
Join the engine room of innovation within the Cash Management department of a leading bank. We're looking for several dynamic Project Officers to strengthen our team and help us deliver high-impact, high-precision projects that keep our operations sharp and our clients satisfied. You'll be part of a collaborative environment where every initiative matters and your contribution drives real change.
What You'll Be Doing:
Drive Momentum: You'll help steer a variety of exciting projects-some wide-reaching, some laser-focused-by coordinating tasks, keeping plans on track, and nudging things forward when they slow down.
Connect the Dots: You're the bridge between teams, making sure everyone is aligned, informed, and moving in the same direction. If it feels like a puzzle, you're the one fitting the pieces together.
️ Support the Big Picture: From steering committees to daily stand-ups, you'll help organize meetings, prep key documents, and make sure decision-makers have what they need to keep the show running.
Stay Ahead of the Clock: Project plans? Deadlines? Milestones? You'll help track them all, gently reminding (or nudging!) stakeholders when things need to happen.
Rally the Right People: Whether it's ops, IT, or external partners, you'll help mobilize the right resources at the right time to keep execution smooth and efficient.
Keep Quality in Check: You'll support testing phases and follow-up activities, making sure deliverables are not just on time-but solid.
Tell the Story: Help craft progress reports, flag risks before they turn into fire drills, and share updates that are as informative as they are digestible.
️ Be the Early Warning System: You'll spot red flags before they wave too high and help escalate smartly, so small issues don't become big ones.
Support Change Like a Pro: New tools, new flows, new teams? You'll help ensure transitions are smooth, well-communicated, and backed by proper training.
️ Shape the Future: You won't just execute-you'll help improve. Think smarter workflows, cleaner processes, and smoother handoffs.
Onboard with Heart: When new teammates join, you'll help them feel like part of the crew from day one.
What You'll Bring:
Experience That Counts: You've spent at least 3 years in a project support or coordination role-ideally in banking, payments, or finance-and know how the back-office heartbeat of a bank works.
Fluency in Payments: You get how SWIFT messages, payment flows, and transaction lifecycles operate. Bonus points if you've been on the front lines of Cash Management.
Cool in a Crisis: You've supported incident resolution, know who to call when something breaks, and can keep calm while others panic.
️ Tech-Comfortable: You're not coding (unless you want to), but you're comfortable in technical environments, speaking both "IT" and "Business" fluently.
️ A Natural Communicator: Whether you're writing a crisp project update or aligning 10 teams in a meeting, your communication is clear, confident, and constructive.
A Mix of Head and Heart: Detail-oriented but people-aware. Autonomous yet collaborative. Proactive, positive, and always ready to solve the next challenge.
