Job Description
Project Officer - Active Journeys (Cymru)
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Location: Work from home, North West Wales region
  • 30 hours per week
  • £28,831 per annum (pro rata for part-time hours)
  • Closing date: 23:59 on 28 September 2025

This is an exciting opportunity to join Sustrans Cymru. We are looking for someone to join our Active Journeys Programme, delivering behaviour change and engagement activities in schools in North West Wales.

About you

You should have experience of leading physical activity or other behaviour change projects within schools, workplaces, or communities. Experience of working within an established project management framework and in a Welsh Language environment is also required.

You will have excellent organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise and manage your workload. You should be able to build and maintain strong relationships and have a flexible and enthusiastic approach. Ability to engage with and support lesser-heard voices in the community is also important.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and familiarity with North West Wales and its diverse communities are desirable.
