Key Responsibilities: Technical Excellence & Client LeadershipAs a Project Manager in the Truro office, you will lead projects through the full lifecycle-from early concept and technical advice to final handover.
- Contract Administration: Expertly manage various contract forms including NEC and JCT, ensuring commercial success and robust risk mitigation.
- Commercial Oversight: Drive project profitability through meticulous budgeting, cost control, and value engineering.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary interface for clients, contractors, and internal multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaborative relationships.
- Project Delivery: Utilize software such as Asta PowerProject or MS Project to manage complex timelines, milestone achievement, and quality benchmarks.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to the highest Health & Safety and statutory standards.
- Experience: Circa 4 years of post-qualification experience, specifically within a Construction Consultancy environment.
- Education: Degree-qualified in a relevant Construction or Built Environment discipline.
- Professional Status: Candidates currently working toward MRICS, MCIOB, or MAPM status are highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in design coordination, procurement, and risk assessment.
- Communication: A clear and concise reporter with the ability to present complex strategies to senior leadership and clients.
