Job Description

Murphy is recruiting for a Project Manager to work with Energy Nationwide.

What you will be doing:
  • Manage and deliver projects within the Energy and Industrial sectors across Ireland, ensuring safe, timely, and cost effective execution.
  • Assist with the compilation, development, and submission of tenders for upcoming projects, working closely with estimating, commercial, and technical teams.
  • Be fully accountable for the delivery of the projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and in accordance with contract requirements and within budget.
  • Set the overall standard on the projects/contract.
  • Ensure the project requirements are identified and delivered.
  • Identify issues and ensure they are resolved in a controlled and timely manner.
  • Ensure contract programmes are planned, reviewed, and delivered.
  • Line manage Site Managers, Site Engineers and Section Managers.
  • Maintain effective client relationship management, providing updates to internal and external stakeholders on project/contract progress.
  • Ensure risk assessments are created, in place, and reviewed as required.
  • Oversee subcontractor performance, gross margin management, cost control, and other key commercial & financial metrics.
Who we are looking for:
  • Minimum of 10 years' industry experience in project delivery environments.
  • Proven experience working within one or more of the following sectors: Energy, Life Sciences, Data Centres (Energy Centres), Pharmaceuticals, Industrial Facilities, or Gas.
  • Proven experience in Quality Assurance (QA) processes within regulated or high compliance environments.
  • Demonstrated involvement in Project Turnover and Handover, including commissioning, documentation close out, and transition to operations.
  • Experience working on complex, multi disciplinary projects from execution through to operational readiness is highly desirable.
