Job Description

Project Manager - UK, London - 6 Months Initial Contract

This is your opportunity to work for a global data centre operator that has been recognised as one of the fastest growing and well-known groups in the industry.

Having received significant investment, this established data centre group is in their next phase of growth and require the expertise of a Project Manager. They have established partnerships with many of the well-known technology powerhouses and tailor to their client's requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end project management to develop a new 'Delivery Handbook' alongside the rollout of a Central Electronic Hub.
  • Collaborate with functional leads to assess existing processes and documentation for accuracy, quality, duplication and gaps.
  • Engage with external specialists to create centralised storage for all our delivery processes.
  • Initiate project work required to create new processes where need is identified.
  • Own the creation of the new GC Specification process.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement by crafting and executing communication plans that foster alignment and support.
  • Establish and maintain project management platforms/tools to ensure transparency, consistency, and accountability.
  • Develop and execute rollout strategy, including training programs, communication plans, and feedback loops.
  • Integrate the new process repositories with existing project management systems, tools, and reporting structures.
  • Establish KPIs and success metrics to track adoption, compliance, and effectiveness of the new process Handbook and Hub.
  • Deliver workshops, toolkits, and ongoing support to ensure teams utilise the new process repositories.
  • Gather feedback from field teams and stakeholders to refine and optimise the process Hub and Handbook post-implementation.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in project management of multiple workstreams, ideally within a business transformation or operational improvement context.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to simplify and convey complex concepts; excellent PowerPoint skills and proficient in Microsoft Suite.
  • Excellent active listening skills.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with shifting priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders at various levels and drive accountability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project and project collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Smartsheet, or equivalent).
