ARE YOU UP FOR THE CHALLENGE?
We want you to be a part of our team, from Brussels, as a Senior Project Manager.
Nature of the main tasks:
- Management of large, complex and strategic projects for implementation of new information systems
- Management of the software development lifecycle by ensuring business needs are constantly identified and the change control procedure is respected, gaining agreement for revisions to the project from project sponsors
- Estimate costs, timescales, and resource requirements for the successful completion of large, complex and strategic projects to agreed terms of reference
- Give proposals for project strategies, planning, definition of tasks and deliverables, review of project deliverables, quality control, risk analysis and management, status reports, problem reporting and management systems, follow up and organisation
- Participate in functional working groups and progress meetings
- Prepare and maintain project and quality plans and track activities against the plan, provide regular and accurate reports
- Provide effective leadership for the project team ensuring that team members are motivated and constantly developing their skills and experience
- Guide the team in charge of project activities and review their deliverables
Knowledge and competences:
- Extensive experience in project management
- Advanced technical knowledge on the projects aspects
- Very good knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Lean Software Development, eXtreme Programming, Discipline Agile)
- Very good knowledge of reporting methods
- Very good knowledge of project management and tracking tools (MS Project, Jira, GitHub Enterprise, ServiceNow)
- Strong ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Strong ability to give presentations both for the business and technical staff
- Leadership capability
- UML, BPMN (Business Modelling)
Tools and Methodologies:
- Microsoft Project
Software development Lifecycle:
- Atlassian tools
- GitHub
- ServiceNow
Methodology:
- Project Management standards and methodologies: (PMI, PRINCE2)
- Project Management: PM2 and PM2 Agile
- Agile Software development: Kanban & Scrum
Technical certification(s):
At least, one of the following:
- PRINCE 2 Foundation
- PRINCE 2 Practitioner
- COBIT 5 Certifications
- PMI Project Management
- PM and PM2 Agile certification
