Project Manager

Due to significant current market opportunities in this sector, the successful candidate will bring their skills to deliver key projects on time and within budget, while also building and maintaining strong client relationships.

You will report to the VP of Special Projects but will have full responsibility and autonomy to drive and successfully deliver projects in the AVK way.

Energy Storage

At the forefront of power generation technologies, AVK has designed and implemented innovative battery storage solutions for various client applications. Our solutions incorporate gas turbines, reciprocating gas engines, and diesel engines coupled with energy storage systems, offering flexibility and competitiveness in grid-scale storage solutions.

Supporting critical power clients, we utilize modularized solutions that complement fast-starting gas generator sets. These systems maintain critical loads and, with an integrated control system, provide flexibility for asset trading while ensuring compliance with UK Grid Code and site-specific requirements.

Key Objectives / Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver diverse projects successfully, understanding the sector's work scope.
• Proven track record in delivering projects within this sector.

• High commercial acumen with experience in preconstruction, procurement, and execution phases.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in the power generation industry.
• Experience delivering diesel engines.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Customer-focused with mediation skills.
• Electrical or mechanical engineering qualification.
• Valid driving license.
