We are looking for a Project Manager - Mechanical to join our Building Services Team located in London.
What you'll do- Reporting to the Senior Project Manager or Operations Manager responsible for the project, effectively and professionally lead the day-to-day management of the specific scope discipline including design, procurement, installation, logistics, compliance, commissioning, and project handover within a large scale multi-disciplinary commercial project, ensuring delivery to time, commercial performance, governance, and Skanska values are met during all phases of the project's delivery to the satisfaction of the client.
- Ensure full compliance of design, engineering, construction, and commissioning processes.
- Add value to the design process by challenging solutions, methods, and techniques where appropriate to deliver works within the contract programme, improve buildability and reduce whole life costs and carbon.
- Develop and administer controls on the project or workplace and ensure full implementation and compliance.
- Ensure lessons learnt are captured and shared with the wider business for consideration on future projects.
- Understand, develop, scrutinise, deliver, and monitor end-to-end programme. Responsible for creating Plan Bs in relation to specific package responsibility.
- Appropriate knowledge and experience to manage multiple disciplines/interfaces and work sequencing.
- Proven track record in successfully delivering within a team on a large scale MEP contract.
- Formal H&S training accreditations, minimum SMSTS.
- Proven track record in leading teams and projects.
