Project Manager - Global FS

Immediate contract requirement for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in global financial services to join my clients team and play a key role in shaping the future of their global operating model.

You will be required to be onsite full time initially.

The role

• Lead and support global transformation projects-scoping, execution, tracking, and reporting.
• Coordinate cross functional teams, identify risks, and drive mitigation and escalation where needed.
• Create and deliver high quality documentation: processes, guidelines, operational procedures, user guides and control frameworks.
• Oversee change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and tools.
• Review and improve processes with a strong risk and control mindset.
• Build and consolidate KPIs and dashboards with operational hubs.
• Deliver ad hoc analysis, including budget projections, process gap reviews, and executive ready presentations.

Skills required

• 5+ years' project management experience, ideally within trade finance or banking.
• Proven, successful track record delivering across any of the following - Target Operating Model and alignment across regions; Local & Global Transformation projects; Designing standard processes, controls, guidelines and coordinate implementation with the regions; Fostered best practices exchange across regions.
• Solid understanding of operational and compliance risks in a banking environment.
• MS office literate with strong competency in excel.
• A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and adaptability in fast changing contexts.
