Job Description
Overview

Centre Stage Engineering is a leading force in the stage engineering industry, delivering innovative mechanical solutions to performance spaces across the UK and beyond. You will work closely with clients, our in-house Design Engineers, and the Production and Installation teams to deliver stage engineering systems from concept through to completion. You will play a key role in the coordination, management, and successful delivery of multiple live projects-on time, on budget, and to a high standard. Responsibilities
  • Taking ownership of project delivery from handover to completion
  • Liaising with clients, consultants, and contractors to develop solutions and manage expectations
  • Coordinating with internal departments (Design, Production, Procurement)
  • Preparing and managing project documentation, schedules, and budgets
  • Overseeing installations on-site, including site surveys and contractor coordination
  • Attending and contributing to client meetings and site inspections
  • Supporting health and safety planning and compliance throughout project phases
Qualifications
  • Experience working in a project engineering or project management role
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor, or other similar 3D modelling software
  • Experience in mechanical engineering
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • The ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation
  • A practical and flexible approach to problem-solving
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Experience using Revit
  • Familiarity with NEC or SBCC contract formats
  • CSCS card or site management qualifications

  • A willingness to be hands-on and visit sites as required

Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Working Hours

8:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday to Friday
