Description:
We are looking for a Project Director, to be part of our Project Management Team and for our LNG EPC Projects, being responsible for:
- Contractor representative and ultimate project responsible to the Client and Company.
- Main contact person with official Bodies, Entities, Partners and other Stakeholders involved in the Project.
- To define the extent and nature of the services to be covered according to the contract scope of work.
- To manage and control the project execution in all the relevant aspects and different stages to ensure that the project targets related to cost, schedule, quality and HSE are reached.
- To define the project organization chart and, supported by the different departments of the Company, mobilize to the Task Force the necessary resources to cope with the project scope, including the Client team
- To lead, coordinate and motivate multicultural and multidisciplinary work teams to achieve the partial / final project milestones.
- To ensure the early submission of the different project plans and procedures in accordance with Client specifications and requirements.
- To implement the communication plan and meetings schedule, either with the Client or internal, to revise the project status on weekly/monthly basis.
- To promote Value Improvement and Constructability Methodologies during detailed Engineering.
- To approve the Procurement and Subcontracting strategy, based on potential risk analysis, capacity, experience and workload of vendors and subcontractors.
- To monitor the schedule and cost control to avoid project delays and unexpected impacts in the cashflow.
- To identify and guarantee that QA/QC and HSE requirements are implemented and periodically get feedback from Client about performance on these subjects.
- To report to the Client and Company about the project progress, alerting on potential risks and implementing corrective plans/actions to mitigate them.
- To establish the Management of Change in the project and to identify potential Change Orders / Contract Variations to negotiate with Client.
- To manage the close-out of the Contract, either in the technical or financial terms.
Requirements for the position:
Project Director with more than 15 years of working experience, at least 5 of them in LNG Plants project execution.
BSc in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
Relevant Experience in EPC LSTK projects developed on EPC Main Contractors.
Willingness to travel. Candidates shall be ready to perform part of the work in other countries as required (worldwide mobility applies to both short and long-term assignments 1-2 years).
