Project Director - Netherlands, Amsterdam (Permanent Contract)

Our client, a developer of multi customer and hyperscale data centres in Europe and Asia Pacific, has an exciting opportunity for a Project Director to join their current project in Amsterdam. They have a strong portfolio of constructing world class critical infrastructure and are chosen time and again for their resilient power and cooling, robust securing and sophisticated monitoring systems.

• Lead overall project strategy and delivery for the data centre project.
• Manage stakeholders including clients, contractors, and consultants.
• Oversee programme, milestones, and scheduling.
• Control budget, costs, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, safety, and quality standards.
• Supervise technical delivery (power, cooling, redundancy, etc.).
• Lead and develop the project team.

• Requires extensive experience working on Data Centres.
• Previous experience of acting as a Project Director on a Data Centre project across Europe.
• Prior experience of managing the general contractor and commissioning activities.
• Great communication skills and experience of interfacing between delivery and operations.
• Dutch language is highly beneficial.
