Job Description
Project Director - EPCm

KBR is a global provider of professional services and technologies who seeks a Project Director - EPCm to oversee the technical and commercial delivery of projects within our Project Portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assure safe project execution in accordance with cost, schedule and contractual requirements while maintaining financial responsibility.
  • Deliver expected results in finance, HSE, client satisfaction, budget and schedule performance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the client and the company, building strong working relationships.
  • Build and sustain project delivery teams across multiple locations and time zones.
  • Support the pursuit of new work through client meetings, presentations and proposal work.
  • Ensure project execution aligns with approved policies, procedures, systems and requirements.
  • Manage project risk to avoid delays and reputational damage.
  • Account for project financial performance.
  • Report project status and forecast.
  • Identify resource requirements and coordinate with resource managers.
  • Deliver single projects or a broader portfolio across multiple clients.
  • Plan project execution, maintain the plan as necessary and ensure adherence.
  • Keep client and company informed of project status.
  • Train, develop and mentor the next generation of LNG project professionals.
Key Qualifications & Attributes
  • Excellent awareness of environmental and sustainability issues, especially within the LNG supply chain and decarbonisation opportunities.
  • Track record of shaping and leading delivery teams.
  • Knowledge of the C3MR process and experience with multiple LNG process technologies and licensors.
  • Senior professional with strong personal drive and credibility with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to influence and lead a broad, geographically dispersed team.
  • Experience working with construction subcontractors, from pre enquiry through engagement, evaluation, commitment and execution management.
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills.
  • Collaborates well in a team environment.
  • Track record of project delivery across a range of global locations.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing priorities while delivering high quality, accurate work within deadlines.
  • Experience reporting and tracking progress and key technical concerns, including Earned Value reporting.
  • Capability to implement technical corrective actions as necessary (lessons learned).
  • Focus on internal changes as well as changes to KBR's scope.
  • Contract administration experience, including change orders, contract amendments and risk management.
  • Ability to resolve client issues, including conflicting demands, sensitive situations and conflicts with other groups.
  • Adherence to the KBR Code of Business Conduct and business ethics.
  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering and possession of a Professional Engineering qualification and/or a project management qualification (e.g., PMP or AMP).
  • Engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to gain the confidence of senior and executive management as well as multidisciplinary and multicultural peers and subordinates.
