Job Description

I am currently partnered with a well established renewables developer operating across the entire project lifecycle, from the acquisition of project rights through to construction and long-term asset management. Project Development Manager

  • You will manage the full project development lifecycle, from greenfield stage to construction readiness, ensuring all required permits and authorisations are secured.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Engineering teams to ensure full regulatory compliance and optimise project layouts.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, monitoring costs and maintaining financial control throughout the development phase.
  • Review and oversee technical and legal documentation, ensuring accuracy, quality, and alignment with budget and project specifications.
  • Support the construction handover process, maintain clear communication with authorities, and manage reporting to stakeholders.


Support the Land Acquisition Manager

  • You will work closely with the Land Acquisition Manager to identify and assess suitable land for PV and agrivoltaic projects across central Spain.
  • Engage with land brokers and mediators to secure strategically located sites.
  • Lead negotiations on land agreements, service contracts, and grid interconnection terms.
  • Conduct environmental and constraints screenings to evaluate the feasibility of proposed sites.
  • Coordinate with the Compliance Department to carry out background checks on landowners and third-party stakeholders.


Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Degree in Engineering, Law, or Economics
  • High level of spoken and written English
  • Previous experience in a Power/ Renewable Energies/ PV developer company
  • Knowledge of the PV sector, regulations and policies in Spain
