Senior Project Coordinator - Acquisitions & Integration

West Midlands Hybrid £38,000-£45,000

We are recruiting for a rapidly scaling, private equity-backed professional services business with an active acquisition and transformation programme.

Working alongside the Head of Integration and PMO Manager, you will coordinate projects across the business, helping to ensure acquisition integrations and strategic change programmes remain organised, visible and on track.

This is not a purely administrative role. You will take ownership of project coordination, maintain momentum across multiple workstreams and work confidently with stakeholders throughout the organisation.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating acquisition activity from pre-completion and Day One through to longer-term integration.
  • Maintaining project plans, milestones, RAID logs, action trackers and decision records.
  • Coordinating workstreams across People, Finance, IT, Risk, Operations and Business Development.
  • Preparing project meetings, agendas, papers and progress reports.
  • Following up actions and constructively challenging incomplete information or missed deadlines.
  • Monitoring risks, dependencies and potential areas of slippage.
  • Gathering and analysing information to support senior-management reporting.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential project documentation.
  • Supporting the development of PMO dashboards, templates and working practices.
  • Taking responsibility for defined projects or workstreams as the role develops.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in project coordination, PMO support, business transformation or integration.
  • Experience working across several concurrent projects or workstreams.
  • Strong organisation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Confidence communicating with and following up senior stakeholders.
  • Experience maintaining project plans, RAID logs, trackers and management reports.
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint and general systems capability.
  • Excellent attention to detail and written communication skills.
  • The judgement and discretion to handle commercially sensitive information.
  • Experience within legal, financial services or another regulated professional-services environment would be highly desirable.
  • Exposure to acquisitions, integrations or organisational change would be particularly valuable.

This opportunity would suit an experienced Project Coordinator who is ready to take on greater ownership and gain significant exposure to acquisitions, integration and business-wide transformation.

Regular presence in the West Midlands office will be required, so candidates must live within a practical commuting distance.
