Job DescriptionKLA is seeking a Project Controls Manager (PCM) with expertise in cost estimating, cost control, planning & scheduling, and contracts. The PCM will work closely with Corporate Facilities, Contractors, Architect/Engineering Firms, Consultants, Regulatory, Legal, Real Estate, Finance, Purchasing, Insurance and other internal teams to own cost, schedule and contract management for all capital projects. Responsibilities include coordinating executive level reporting (monthly, quarterly, MBR, QBR, Strat Plans, FRAMs), issuing project level and portfolio level reports, and supporting the Long Range Plan.
The role requires the PCM to be on site with up to 30% travel (primarily Europe with occasional travel to APAC sites).
Scope and ResponsibilitiesHandle a broad range of projects ranging in dollar value and complexity from simple to sophisticated manufacturing retrofit projects. Collaborate with corporate management to acquire project funding (FRAM), lead objective cost reporting to senior management, support Project Managers during bid solicitation, tabulation, evaluation, and award, and manage consultants and possibly lead FTEs in the future.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent).
- Extensive experience in commercial and industrial construction project controls (cost control, scheduling, estimating).
- Experience in microelectronic or pharmaceutical industry with knowledge of cleanrooms and process piping/MEP scope preferred.
- Strong analytical skills for estimate analysis, bid evaluations, budget monitoring, cash flow analysis, risk analysis (quantitative and qualitative), and benchmarking.
- Strong technical knowledge in construction cost and schedule management.
- Proficiency with estimation from conceptual to definitive construction estimates.
- Expertise in Primavera (P6), estimation software such as Timberline or similar, cost application Procore.
- Advanced Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, and email.
- Power BI knowledge a plus.
