This role will be based in the client's office 2 days per week.

  • You will guide the development and management of project baselines and monitor delivery performance, changes, and contingencies.
  • You will monitor project risk analysis developments.
  • You will collaborate with PMO Director and Project Managers to address actions and mitigate risks.
  • You will ensure activities comply with control standards, client requirements, and legislation.
  • You will support junior resources and collaborate across disciplines.
  • You will work towards net zero carbon goals, managing associated emissions during project delivery.

Requirements:
  • Experience on complex construction projects and major consultancy commissions.
  • Proven ability in delivering PMO and Project Controls frameworks.
  • Knowledge of PMO and controls tools like MS Office, Power BI, Primavera P6, RiskHive.
  • Strong communication, engagement, and networking skills.
  • Ability to present persuasively to clients.
  • Understanding of construction/delivery lifecycle.
  • Experience across sectors like rail, highways, nuclear, public sector, hospitals.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to influence.
  • Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • Up to 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
  • APM PPC Foundation and Practitioner certifications.
Additional desired skills:
  • Knowledge of data analytics, Power BI, risk tools like Primavera Risk Active Risk Manager.
  • Relevant degree (construction, engineering) or equivalent.
  • Progress towards Chartered status or membership of a professional body.
