One of our clients, a key player in the nuclear industry, designs and supplies advanced turbine island technology for a wide range of reactor types, including SMRs. As part of its business expansion, we are looking for a skilled Project Contract Manager M/F. The role involves taking ownership of contract governance across major international projects, ensuring obligations are met, risks are mitigated, and financial outcomes are optimized throughout the contract lifecycle.
Your Responsibilities
- Contract structuring and negotiation
Lead or support the negotiation of complex contracts with clients, suppliers, and partners. Coordinate with legal and commercial teams to develop contract frameworks that align with project strategy and risk appetite.
- Lifecycle contract management
Oversee the administration of project contracts from start to finish-monitoring obligations, tracking key milestones, and ensuring compliance with all commercial and legal terms.
- Change and claim management
Identify contract variations and potential claims early. Draft and negotiate amendments or variations in collaboration with technical and legal experts. Prepare robust justifications to protect the company's interests.
- Risk mitigation and opportunity identification
Proactively assess and manage contract-related risks. Recommend mitigation strategies and track their implementation. Identify and secure contractual opportunities to improve project margins.
- Cross-functional coordination
Serve as the contract focal point within project teams. Work closely with project managers, finance, procurement, engineering, and legal departments to ensure alignment between contractual requirements and project execution.
- Documentation and reporting
Maintain accurate records of contractual correspondence and decisions. Prepare contract dashboards, summary reports, and risk logs for internal stakeholders and project reviews.
- Best practices and compliance
Promote contract management best practices across the organization. Contribute to internal training and continuous improvement initiatives related to commercial governance and risk control.

Profil
- High Degree in Law, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 10 years of experience in the energy industry with at least 5 years of experience in one of the following activities: contract management, project management or legal for large/complex projects,
- Solid understanding of contract law, risk management, and project delivery frameworks (EPC, turnkey, consortium, etc.)
- Proven experience in managing contract variations, claims, and negotiations with international stakeholders
- Fluent in English; French is a plus
