Location: Colchester
Salary : £37-45,000
An award-winning architectural practice based in Colchester is seeking an experienced Project Architect to join their ambitious and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and design-focused individual with strong technical expertise to take a leading role in delivering a wide range of projects across the UK. The practice works across multiple sectors, including residential, mixed-use, education, commercial, industrial, master planning, and health & special care. You will play a key part in shaping the practice's creative and strategic direction while managing projects and mentoring junior team members.

- Lead and deliver architectural projects from concept to completion
- Contribute to the strategic growth and development of the practice
- Manage and mentor junior architects and assistants
- Represent the practice at client meetings, presentations, and networking events
- Produce and review detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Liaise confidently with clients, consultants, and contractors
- Ensure compliance with building regulations and planning requirements
- Oversee on-site construction to maintain quality and meet deadlines
- Support business development and strengthen client relationships
- ARB or RIBA registered with substantial UK-based experience
- Strong design and technical skills with excellent Revit proficiency
- Proven experience delivering projects within the commercial and education sectors
- Confident communicator with strong client-facing and presentation abilities
- Highly motivated, organised, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership, coordination, and mentoring skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of building regulations, planning, and construction processes
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
